William P. Yarborough’s World War II-dated United States Army ‘two star’ Major General diecast vehicle plate, 11.75 x 5 x .5, almost 3 lbs in weight, signed on the front and back in felt tip, “William P. Yarborough, Lt. Gen. USA.” The upper corners feature mounting holes, and the reverse is stamped with numbers "3115" and "15." In fine condition, with scattered scuffs and marks. Authentic heavyweight World War II vehicle plates are quite uncommon, with this example all the more desirable given the distinction of its original owner.
