Description

Physician and promoter of health foods (1852-1943) best known for his invention of Corn Flakes. Signed book: Tobaccoism; or, How Tobacco Kills. Later printing. Battle Creek, MI: The Modern Medicine Publishing Co., 1923. Hardcover, 5.25 x 7.5, 171 pages. Signed and inscribed on the title page in ink, "John Harvey Kellogg." Also bears a presentation by "Leroy F. Sparks" on the first free end page. In very good to fine condition, with cracking to the inner hinges, wear at spine ends, and heavy fading to the spine text.
