AMQS on an off-white 4.25 x 3.25 sheet, signed in bold ink, "Hans Richter, London, July, 1888," who adds two bars of music from Richard Wagner's 'Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg,' with an inscription below commemorating the sixth year that Richter had conducted the piece in London, which coincided with the opera's 20th anniversary. Matted and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 9.75 x 17. In fine condition, with scattered foxing.
