Vintage matte-finish 6 x 9 Harris and Ewing photo of Holmes seated in his judicial robe, signed on the original 9.75 x 13.75 studio mat in black ink, "Oliver Wendell Holmes, March 24, 1931." In very good to fine condition, with light silvering and small surface impressions to the image. Holmes is uncommon in signed photos, particularly formal portraits.
