Rare 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photo of Fillmore in a full-length pose, published by E. Anthony from a negative from Mathew Brady's National Portrait Gallery, neatly signed on the mount in ink, "Millard Fillmore, March 6, 1862." Reverse is annotated in another hand. In fine to very fine condition. Extremely scarce in this format, this is just the fourth signed photo of Fillmore we have offered, and the only example of this handsome standing portrait that we have seen. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
