Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 23 x 19, June 2, 1922. President Harding appoints Jay C. Huston of California as "a Consul of Class six of the United States of America." Signed at the conclusion in ink by President Harding and countersigned by Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes. The embossed paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Tightly rolled and in very good condition, with overall creasing, soiling, and a few edge tears.
