(Walt Disney Studios, circa 1945) Original publicity art by Disney artist Hank Porter of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Jose Carioca, created as an appreciatory gift and presented to South American radio station Sintonia for promoting Disney movies and songs throughout the 1940s. Accomplished in ink and white paint on untrimmed 17.25 x 12 artist paper, the piece depicts Mickey offering a large cake to 'Miss Sintonia,' with Goofy, Donald, and Jose capturing the moment as the production team. Porter has added a Walt Disney 'autograph' copyright to the lower right corner. Total image area measures 15.75 x 10. In very good to fine condition, with a central vertical fold, a vertical bend to left side, and wear to borders, which includes a short tear to right edge. A unique and early Disney display piece highlighted by its bold artwork and its desirable cast of classic characters.
