Description

Limited edition 12 x 12 lithograph of an illustration drawn by Klaus Voormann, one of ten that Voormann created to represent each song on Ringo Starr’s 1973 album Ringo. Numbered 36/75 and signed in pencil in the lower border by Voormann, this particular illustration is for the opening track ‘I’m The Greatest,’ a song written by John Lennon. Named after one of Muhammad Ali's catchphrases, the song featured Starr, Lennon, and George Harrison, which marked the only time that three former Beatles recorded together between the band's break-up in 1970 and Lennon's death in 1980. In very good to fine condition, with dampstaining, primarily constrained to the margins. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
