Vintage pencil signatures of the Crickets—“Buddy Holly,” “For Carole, Jerry Allison,” “To Carol, The Crickets, Joe Mauldin,” and “To Carol, Best of luck from, ‘The Crickets,’ Niki Sullivan”—on irregularly clipped sheets measuring from 4 x 2.5 to 4.75 x 5.5; the Holly handwritten inscription is on its own 5.25 x 2.5 sheet. In overall fine condition.
Accompanied by an album and two 45 RPM singles by Buddy Holly and the Crickets: The Chirping Crickets, ‘Oh, Boy! / Not Fade Away,’ and ‘Peggy Sue / Everyday.’ Also included is a typed letter from Buddy Holly expert Bill Griggs, who affirms that the autographs were obtained on September 12, 1957, when the band performed at the Vets Memorial Building in Columbus, Ohio.
