Signer of the US Constitution from Pennsylvania (1744-1800) and first governor of that state. Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “Tho. Mifflin,” one page, 20.75 x 12, October 15, 1794. Governor Mifflin grants Charles Willing a certain tract of land called "Lime Stone" containing "One thousand and forty three acres." Signed in the upper left corner by Governor Mifflin, and countersigned at the conclusion by James Trimble as deputy secretary. Upper right corner bears the original white paper star seal. In fine condition, with some creases.
