George Gershwin composed a symphonic orchestral piece specifically for Hoctor in the 1937 film Shall We Dance. Beautiful vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Hoctor standing en pointe, taken by celebrity portraitist Maurice Seymour, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To George Roesch, Gratefully and sincerely, Harriet Hoctor.” In fine condition, with silvering to dark areas of the image.
