Collection of six handbooks associated with the 'Program Evaluation Review Technique' (PERT) project management method. Designed to simplify the planning and scheduling of large and complex projects, 'PERT' was first developed by the United States Navy in 1958 to support the Polaris nuclear submarine project. It was subsequently adopted by NASA as a means for schedule planning and control. Titles include:
