A souvenir typescript of the November 22, 1963, letter sent to Dallas Police Chief Jesse Curry by the four captors of Oswald following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, two pages, 8.5 x 11, with upper subject line reading: "Apprehension of suspect in the Death of the President of the United States and Officer J. D. Tippit." Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint by Gerald L. Hill as 'Sergeant of Police,' Ray Hawkins as 'Acc. Investigator,' Paul Bentley as 'Detective,' and M. N. McDonald as 'Patrolman.'
An autograph manuscript entitled "The Arrest and Capture of Lee Harvey Oswald, By Officer M. N. 'Nick' McDonald, 11-22-63," five pages, 8.5 x 11, signed at the conclusion, "Officer M. 'Nick' McDonald, Captor of Oswald, 11-22-63." The remarkable firsthand account describes his apprehension of Oswald-"a suspect in the murder of Officer J. D. Tippit"-inside the Texas Theatre. In overall fine condition.
