Two Revolutionary War-era documents signed by the Connecticut leaders: a manuscript DS signed "Oliv: Wolcott, Jr." one page, 8 x 6.5, May 28, 1784, in part: "Please to secure to Col. John Ely the payment of Fifty Pounds Lawful Money by a Note dated June 7th 1783"; and a manuscript DS signed "J. Huntington," one page, 8.25 x 5.5, June 22, 1783, in part: "Pay Glastonbury Select Men Six pounds fourteen shillings in bills of this State." In overall very good to fine condition, with scattered staining to the Huntington document.
