Nineteenth-century firearms manufacturer and son of the designer of the original Remington rifle (1793-1861). Cashier of Ilion Bank check, 7.25 x 2.75, filled out and signed by Remington, "E. Remington & Sons," payable to C. Riley for N. Y. Central R. R. Co. for $26.37, January 3, 1855. In fine condition. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder, grading the autograph as "NM 7."
