Set of six original vintage glossy NASA photos, 8 x 10 and 10 x 8, each depicting the Saturn VSA-506 rocket used to send the crew of Apollo 11 to the moon, with images including: a close-up image of the five powerful engines of the 138-foot-tall S-1C booster; an image of the S-IVB third stage being stacked upon the S-II second stage inside the Spaceport's Vehicle Assembly Building; three spectacular images of the 363-foot-high Apollo 11 Saturn V during its 3.5 mile rollout; and an image of the Saturn V positioned atop pedestals at Launch Complex 39A. Reverse of five photos bear official purple NASA caption text, and one bears an affixed Newsbureau press release caption. In overall fine condition.
