Description

American politician (1753-1813) who served as both attorney general and secretary of state in George Washington's cabinet. Third-person ALS signed “E. Randolph,” one page, 3.75 x 6, no date. In full: "E. Randolph will thank the cashier of the bank of the U. S. to inform him what balance is in his favor on the books. Friday." Randolph has addressed the reverse in his own hand. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, and a small area of seal-related paper loss.
