(20th Century Fox, 1980) Original color 14 x 36 ‘Style B’ dark blue insert movie poster for the classic space opera The Empire Strikes Back, which features artist Thomas Jung’s character collage with a towering Darth Vader set inside a thin black border, with the upper and lower portions reading: “The Star Wars Saga Continues” and “Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back.” Lower portion bears the film's credits, production details, and “PG” rating, with the bottom border featuring NSS information and identified as “800001, Style B.” In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, wrinkling, and areas of dampstaining. This poster has a darker blue background and is slightly more uncommon than the light blue version.
