Revolutionary War-dated manuscript DS, signed “O. Ellsworth,” one page, 8.25 x 6.25, June 2, 1777. Pay order issued to Treasurer John Lawrence, in full: "Pay Simon Huntington & the rest of the Selectmen of Norwich Twenty five pounds three shillings & six pence, for blankets bot & supplied the Continental Troops rais'd in this State." Boldly signed at the conclusion by Ellsworth as a member of the committee. Archivally mounted, matted, and framed under Tru-Vue Museum Glass to an overall size of 15 x 13. In fine condition.
