It is delightful that men whom I have known a long time, and whom I have known as my friends, should feel as you do about my election." In fine condition. The 1910 New Jersey gubernatorial election was held on November 8, 1910, with Democratic nominee Woodrow Wilson defeating Republican nominee Vivian M. Lewis with 53.93% of the vote. Wilson became a prominent 1912 presidential contender immediately upon his election.
