Canadian-born actress of stage and film (1904-1935) whose last role was as the new wife of Larry Fine in the Three Stooges short Woman Haters. She died in a car accident at the age of 31. Rare vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 studio portrait of Marjorie White, signed in fountain pen, with another hand adding the inscription: "To Mr. Ira. H. Cohen, If this were a talking picture it would say good luck to 'Sunnyside Up,' sincerely." In very fine condition. White starred as Bea Nichols in the 1929 film Sunny Side Up, which also featured Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell. A rare autograph of the tragic starlet, the first we have ever offered.
