Limited edition color 7.5 x 9.5 print of a pencil drawing by artist James Amore of Boston Red Sox greats Ted Williams and Carl Yastrzemski, numbered 26/30, signed in black ballpoint by Williams and in felt tip by Yastrzemski. The print is also signed in the lower left by the artist. Matted and framed to an overall size of 12.25 x 15.2.5. In fine condition, with light edge toning. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the consignor—a Yastrzemski fan—who notes that his mother—a Williams fan—purchased this print from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York, as a way of acknowledging the generational transfer of left field at Fenway from Williams to Yastrzemski and the generational transfer of the love of baseball from mother to son.
