Gold bond carrying a rate of 3.5% issued to Gladys Moore Vanderbilt and signed by Edward Van Wyck Rossiter as the company's vice president. The original receipt remains affixed to the left edge. In fine condition
Gladys Moore Vanderbilt (1886-1965) was an heiress from the Vanderbilt family who married Hungarian Count László Széchenyi. Rossiter (1844-1910) was a railroad executive remembered for his affiliation with the New York & Harlem Railroad.
