Vanderbilt,” one page, 8.25 x 4, September 10, 1883. Beech Creek, Clearfield & South Western Railroad Company receipt issued to Israel Test for an assessment of $25, signed at the conclusion by Vanderbilt as treasurer. Matted and framed with a portrait bearing his facsimile signature to an overall size of 20 x 13.25. In fine condition. Originally chartered in 1882, the Beech Creek Railroad operated in central Pennsylvania between Jersey Shore and Mahaffey.
