Description

English Particular Baptist preacher and author (1834-1892) who helped popularize the phrase 'What would Jesus do?,' known for his powerful sermons as the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel. Ink signature, "Yours very truly, C. H. Spurgeon,” on an off-white 5.5 x 1.75 slip. In fine condition, with a rusty paperclip impression to the top.
