ALS signed “J. M. Barrie,” one page, 4 x 5.75, Leinster Corner letterhead, February 29, 1908. Handwritten letter from a rare leap-year date, in part: "Thank you…for your pleasant letter, and for the kind thoughts that prompted you to write to me." Framed beside an original cabinet photo of the author to an overall size of 9.75 x 7.75. In very good to fine condition, with soiling to the letter, a heavy stain to the lower right corner of the photo, and wear to the original old frame.
