Sam Houston sends his autograph from Washington

ALS, one page, 6.5 x 5.25, January 21, 1856. Handwritten letter to a gentleman, sent from Washington, DC, during his time as a US Senator. In full: "As you request, I have the pleasure to send you my autograph." Impressively matted and framed with a portrait and plaque to an overall size of 26.5 x 21. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and faint staining. A desirable letter boasting a large and prominent autograph from the great Texan.
