Group lot of five vintage covers and envelopes, each postmarked between 1962 and 1968, individually signed in ink by one of the original Mercury astronauts, including: “M. Scott Carpenter,” “J. H. Glenn, Jr.,” “Virgil I. Grissom,” “W. M. Schirra, Jr.,” and “D. K. Slayton.” Includes a cover signed by Shorty Powers, an American public affairs officer for NASA during Project Mercury, who was known as the "voice of Mercury Control.” In overall fine condition.
