Three items signed by Vinson: a fabulous vintage matte-finish 7.75 x 9.75 portrait of Vinson in his robes by Harris & Ewing, signed in the lower border in fountain pen, "Fred M. Vinson," with a collector's label on the reverse dating it to 1948; a TLS on Supreme Court letterhead, May 25, 1948, in part: "I am returning herewith the photograph which I have autographed"; and a TNS on a Supreme Court card, February 27, 1947, in part: "I am pleased to send you my autograph for your collection." In fine condition, with two tiny surface impressions above Vinson's head, and some light creasing and toning to the letters. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the signed card and an unsigned matte-finish Harris & Ewing photo of Vinson and his wife.
