Partial handwritten letter as Governor-General of India, in part: "Since I wrote the foregoing, the Rabab Vizier has sent likewise a complimentary letter, with pecuniary presents…to a much greater amount than Mabanick; viz. 25,000 Rupees to Dr. Willis, & the same for charitable purposes. I have as before promised to forward the letter and civilly declined the money. I received letters of congratulations to the King…from Hassain Reza Khan…and Kyder Bey Khan the real Minister of the Vizier…I have therefore acquainted them that his Majesty shall be informed of the sentiments of Joy which they express on the happy event of the recovery of his health."
