Description

Nobel Prize-winning chemist (1912-1999) who was instrumental in the discovery of several elements, and developed the extraction process used to isolate the plutonium fuel for the second atomic bomb during the Manhattan Project. Matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of the scientist posing with a molecular-model handkerchief in his pocket, signed in black felt tip, "Glenn T. Seaborg." In very fine condition.
