Vintage matte-finish 9.5 x 12.5 studio portrait of the esteemed Massachusetts statesman, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "W. O. Faxon—with the best regards of, Henry Cabot Lodge.” Framed to a slightly larger size. In very good to fine condition, with a few light stains, and a short crease to the bottom border. Dr. William Otis Faxon (1853-1942) of Stoughton, Massachusetts, served in the state's Senate and in its House of Representatives.
