Very desirable 8´ x 5´ cotton American flag that was flown over the United States Capitol on September 11, 2011, on the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Includes a printed presentation certificate from Architect of the Capitol Stephen T. Ayers, in part: “This is to certify that the accompanying flag was flown over the United States Capitol on September 11, 2011. At the request of the Honorable Sue Myrick, Member of Congress, this flag was flown for American Friends Lost on 9-11-2001. This flag has been flown in remembrance of 2,977 of our fellow American friends and heroes made and tragically lost 10 years ago today on 9-11-2001 due to the cowardice acts of terrorism set forth by Osama Bin Laden and his evil followers."
