Handwritten letter concerning some financial matters, in part: "I fancy Lord Downshire had written to you about a plan we have of buying a house & securing upon it £800 belonging to my wife. As however the stocks are now on the decline we have laid aside that plan." Inlaid into a slightly larger sheet and in very good to fine condition, with light toning and soiling.
