Two items: an Owens Corning Fiberglas acrylic display, 4.25 x 6.5 x 1.5, containing a 3.5″ Beta cloth patch of the Apollo 15 mission insignia and a small metallic lunar rover, with descriptive text noting the importance of fiberglas in space exploration, “from textiles in fire-safe suits, to reinforcement applications in the lunar and command modules, and now in the Lunar Roving Vehicle”; and a replica of the Apollo 15 lunar rover license plate, 7.75 x 4.75, marked with the registration number “LRV 001,” with “MOON” as the home state, and the year 1971. In overall fine condition, with light scattered scuffing to both.
