Rare document from the tragic end of one of Hollywood’s first power couples

Partly-printed DS, one page, 8.5 x 14, March 4, 1942. Delmar Mote Florist, as "a creditor of Carole Lombard, etc., deceased…presents its claim against the estate of said deceased, with the necessary vouchers, to Clark Gable as Executor of said estate," in the amount of $420.76. Gable approves the claim, signing on a reverse docketing panel. In fine condition, with light irregular toning and some short edge tears. Gable and Lombard were married for three years until her untimely death in a plane crash, a loss from which Gable never truly recovered.
