Rare original color 15.75 x 10.5 Mississippi Nights promotional poster for a Ramones concert at the Music Club in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 29 [1987], which features an image of the band with Clem Burke, aka Elvis Ramone, as the drummer. Scheduled as their final North American show before heading overseas for an October tour of Europe, this St. Louis concert never happened. In fine condition, with tack holes to the corners. Burke, the drummer for Blondie, joined the Ramones for two shows under the stage name Elvis Ramone following Richie Ramone's sudden departure in late August of 1987. He was fired after two performances (August 28 and 29, 1987) because his drumming could not keep up with the rest of the band. In September, Marky, now clean and sober, returned to the band.
From the Ramones and Punk Collection of Daniel Rey, and accompanied by a letter of provenance.
