Signed at the head of the title page in ink with his ownership signature, "Charles Cotesworth Pinckney." Autographic condition: fine. Book condition: G/None, with scuffing and wear to front board, leather missing from spine and most of rear board (but binding remains intact), cracked hinges, and toning to extremities of textblock. An intriguing military title from Pinckney's personal library.
