Elton John's personally-worn custom-made fringed sunglasses from a photo shoot for the 2011 spring/summer 'fruit and nut' issue of Pop magazine. The black sunglasses, by Mercura NYC, have been decorated with a stiff multi-hued tan fringe around the lenses. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from L.A. Archives, in part: "This letter serves to authenticate that this pair of sunglasses were worn by Elton John for his Fruit and Nut magazine photoshoot. These glasses were acquired directly from the designer." A fabulous piece from the legendary piano rocker, renowned for his flamboyant eyewear.
