Uncommon 2 x 3.5 mourning carte-de-visite photo of the image produced by Charles Magnus of New York in 1865, showing an oval portrait of Abraham Lincoln with patriotic motif and "The Martyr of Freedom" shield above. The bottom reads: "Sixteenth President of the United States." The wreath surrounding Lincoln has a facsimile of his signature. Loosely displayed in a contemporary album mat. In very good to fine condition, with staining to the mat, and clipped corners to the photo itself.
