Very desirable ferrotype button from the 1860 presidential campaign, 1″ in diameter, featuring a portrait of a beardless Abraham Lincoln on one side, with his vice presidential running mate Hannibal Hamlin on the other. Their portraits are encircled with raised text, "Abraham Lincoln, 1860" and "Hannibal Hamlin, 1860." In fine condition, with Hamlin's image slightly blurry, and a speck of emulsion loss to each.
