(Walt Disney Studios, 1951) Remarkable original production cels of Alice and a Pencil Bird from Alice in Wonderland, which depicts Alice in a beautiful full-length pose looking up at the fluttering Pencil Bird during a moment in the unpredictable Tulgey Wood. The cels have been trimmed to form and placed on a hand-painted production master background from the same film; this set-up was originally assembled by members of the Disney art department the very year the film was released. Character images measure 3.5 x 3.5 (Pencil Bird) and 4 x 5 (Alice), with a mat opening of 12 x 9. Attractively double-matted and framed to an overall size of 19 x 16.25. In fine condition.
