(Walt Disney Studios, 1935) Original production storyboard drawing of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Peg Leg Pete from Mickey's Service Station, which shows Mickey holding the car door for their large and angry customer as Goofy looks on. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on 8.75 x 6.75 artist paper marked "114" in the lower border. Characters measure 1 x 2 (Goofy), 1.75 x 3 (Mickey), and 8.25 x 5.5 (Pete and car). Matted with a plaque to an overall size of 15.25 x 14.25. In fine condition, with pin holes and some paper loss to edges. Mickey's Service Station introduced Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as a comedy trio, which would soon become a popular formula for Disney films.
