Two signatures of the popular 19th-century American female poets: a choice ink signature, "Julia Ward Howe, February 1893," on an off-white 3.75 x 2 card; and a bold ink signature and inscription by Lydia Sigourney, "Mrs. Knidenbacker, with the love of her friend, the Author, New-Year, 1852," on an off-white 3.25 x 2 slip, affixed to a slightly larger page with identification notation below. In overall fine condition, with a small stain to the Sigourney slip.
