A typed letter to the wife of actor and singer Phil Reagan, in full: "Please accept my apologies for this belated reply to your letter of August 4th. I would have written you much earlier, but negotiations for the publishing of two of my own books were going on, and I was not in a position to commit myself one way or another. It would have been a pleasure to comply with your request, and I am very sorry, indeed, that I can not do it. My contractual restrictions are too limiting." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing, a paperclip impression to the top edge, and a couple of extra horizontal folds.
