Notable American abstract expressionist painter (1910-1962). Original vintage fountain pen sketches of "The Boy Friend" accomplished in great detail by Kline on both sides of a beige 3.5 x 5.5 album page, signed on one side, "Franz Kline," and on the other, "You've lots of friends, let me be among them, Franz Kline." This page was allegedly given by the young Kline to his teenage sweetheart. In fine condition.
