Group of three TLSs as president, each one page, 7 x 8.75, White House letterhead, dated to 1929-1931, each addressed to noted Midwestern newspaper editor and publisher John Charles Shaffer, inviting him to a White House luncheon and thanking him for his kind editorials. In overall fine condition, with scattered stains to the later letter.
