Group lot of three vintage UK jazz souvenir brochures from the mid-to-late 1960s, each signed inside in ballpoint by a variety of notable musicians: a souvenir brochure for Count Basie and His Orchestra, signed on the inside front cover by Basie and 15 members of his band, including: Albert Aarons, George Cohn, Harry Edison, Eugene Goe, William Hughes, Grover Mitchell, Harlan Floyd, Richard Boone, Charlie Fowlkes, Eric Dixon, Robert Plater, Earl Warren, Freddie Green, and Rufus Jones; a souvenir brochure for Duke Ellington and His Famous Orchestra, signed inside by Duke Ellington, Johnny Hodges, John Lamb, Chuck Connors, Jimmy Hamilton, and Lawrence Brown, and on the front cover by Buster Cooper; and a souvenir brochure for the festival ‘Jazz from a Swinging Era,’ signed inside by Earl Hines, Roy Eldridge, Bud Freeman, Vic Dickenson, Earle Warren (ins), Budd Johnson, Buck Clayton, Budd Johnson, Sir Charles Thompson, Bill Pemberton, and Oliver Jackson. In overall very good to fine condition, with some creasing and staining, and a heavy central vertical fold to each.
