LS in French, signed “Joachim Napoleon,” one page, 7.75 x 9.5, November 7, 1809. Letter to the "Ministre Secretaire d'Etat," in full (translated): "I would like you to leave for Rome immediately. I plan on leaving tomorrow night myself. Leave the order in your desk drawer so that we can carefully address your reports each evening. Mr. Minister, I pray that God is with you." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light foxing, and light irregular toning.
