Letter to Manning Ferguson Force, in full: "The next regular meeting of the Society of the Army of the Tennessee will be held at Cincinnati, Ohio, on the 6th and 7th days of April next. Colonel Jno. Noble of the Iowa Cavalry will deliver the annual address, and suitable arrangements will be made by the local committees for the generous entertainment. All members of our society and of kindred societies are respectfully invited to attend." He adds a handwritten postscript, "All papers friendly to the cause are requested to give circulation of this notice." In fine condition. The recipient of this letter, Manning Ferguson Force, commanded the Union Army's 20th Ohio Volunteer Infantry and received the Medal of Honor for gallantry in action during the Civil War.
